Prohibited Airspace: What Is This?
What is prohibited airspace?
A prohibited airspace is an area (volume) of airspace within which flight of aircraft is not allowed, usually due to security concerns. It is one of many types of special use airspace designations and is depicted on aeronautical charts with the letter "P" followed by a serial number. It differs from restricted airspace in that entry is typically forbidden at all times from all aircraft and is not subject to clearance from ATC or the airspace's controlling body.
According to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA): "Prohibited areas contain airspace of defined dimensions identified by an area on the surface of the earth within which the flight of aircraft is prohibited. Such areas are established for security or other reasons associated with the national welfare. These areas are published in the Federal Register and are depicted on aeronautical charts."
Some prohibited airspace may be supplemented via NOTAMs. For example, Prohibited Area 40 (P-40) and Restricted Area 4009 (R4009) often have additional restricted airspace added via a NOTAM when the President of the United States visits Camp David in Maryland, while normally the airspace outside, of P-40 and R4009 is not prohibited/restricted.
Violating prohibited airspace established for national security purposes may result in military interception and/or the possibility of an attack upon the violating aircraft, or if this is avoided, then large fines and jail time are often incurred. Aircraft violating or about to violate prohibited airspace are often warned beforehand on 121.5 MHz, the emergency frequency for aircraft.

I lose all faith with this channel when they are talking about a Cessna 150/152 and show the inside of a twin Piper. Also they say engine is a "zero-" not an "O" (as in opposed).

When I watch J.Planes or any similar vids I always head for the A380 vids, it is a joy to spend time watching a beautiful plane..
The helicopter looks like the one used in air wolf
It’s the Bell 430, the four bladed version of the 230, which is the two bladed, Rolls Royce 250 powered version of the 222, which is what Airwolf was. The 222 had Lycoming LTS-101 engines, that had some issues in 222’s, and in Aerospatiale’s Écureuil 350’s and USCG H-65 Dolphins. Bell changed the 222 into the 230 with more powerful and reliable Rolls Royce 250’s, then later developed a four bladed bearingless main rotor for the 230, making it the 430. The design of bearingless main rotor on the 430 is very similar to the one on the Eurocopter/Airbus H135, and on the McDonnell Douglas MD-900.

The A340 is elegant in design.
the smaller engines were a last minute change as the original engines that were more like 747 engine thrust, were up to the numbers the company said they would be. plus the orginal engines too way longer to be built then planned.
Have always loved these airframes “Airwolf”, to me they have always had a sports car style to them. Had the chance to fly In a 222 and 230 from our local hospital a few times, memories I will always cherish

Great helicopter, but I wouldn't fly with this guy. He spends way too much time f'ing with that GPS and ipad and not paying attention to what's outside. I realize they're on the coast, but there could be something coming at them from the side.

It's so cool but I'm always confused the more advanced the aircraft becomes the more and more gauges and switches there are. does this mean in the future it will be entirely covered with gauges and switch's as we advance in technology? If we make cars more advanced, will we have hundreds of gauges and switches and a prestart routine?
Remember... this is mid 80's Technology at work here. As with many older aircraft, one can upgrade Gauges and such, but today's new helicopters like the 429 have Glass touchscreens and computer controlled Fuel mixtures that make it much easier to start. Still have to pilot the thing, though! 😁🚁
